About IBSS
A Scandinavian Business School with a Global Story.
The International Business School of Scandinavia was established in Denmark in 2004. Since then, IBSS has developed into an internationally connected business school shaped by flexible education, international perspectives and collaboration across borders.
Our Beginning
Established in Denmark. International in outlook.
From its Scandinavian foundations, IBSS developed around a straightforward idea: quality international education should be accessible to people regardless of where they live.
That principle has continued to shape the school as its community, academic activity and international relationships have developed over more than two decades.
Our History
From Scandinavian Foundations to an International Education Network.
As education changed, IBSS evolved with it — developing new approaches to learning and building relationships that could connect students with international business education across different countries and regions.
Education Without Borders
Reaching Students Where They Are.
Long before flexible and digitally supported education became commonplace, IBSS recognised the importance of giving students different ways to pursue an international education.
This philosophy developed into an educational model centred on online and blended learning, allowing education to reach beyond the boundaries of a traditional campus.
International Development
A School Becoming Increasingly Connected.
Over time, IBSS developed relationships with academic institutions, educational organisations and learning partners across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
These relationships brought IBSS into contact with students from different cultures, industries and professional backgrounds, strengthening the international perspective that had become central to the school.
Academic Development
From Bachelor to Doctoral Education.
As IBSS developed, so did its academic portfolio. Today, the school focuses on business and management education across Bachelor, Master and Doctorate levels.
Its academic offering includes the Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Business Administration, serving an international student body through flexible approaches to education.
A Connected Model
As IBSS expanded internationally, partnership became an increasingly important part of how the school connected its programmes with students, institutions and educational communities in different markets.
Accreditation & Recognition
